The location is excellent. The grounds around the hotel are very pleasant for a stroll, and it's quiet. The facilities (thermal spa, restaurant) have seen better days, but they are quite all right. Breakfast was good and well-organized. Recommend trying The Alkaline Bar for a glass of local red wine. For a quick lunch or dinner, recommend a short walk uphill to Cafe Imperio.

Public free parking in the vicinity of the hotel. Friendly staff. Helpful receptionists. Nice breakfast. Clean rooms. Quiet location. Average size outdoor pool. Kids pool. Dinner buffet (traditional Portuguese) with live music.

The location was stunning and it felt like we were staying in a small village, with square and lovely walks within metres of our room. The bar was nice and very reasonably priced. The pool was great !

Firstly, the location is beautiful and the cluster of buildings/rooms around the squares gorgeous. The pool area is also lovely. The hotel has an amazing, cool, shared living area next to an open reception area. Reception staff are lovely, friendly and helpful. Our room was clean, comfortable and relatively spacious but short on sockets. An easy chair in our room would have been nice. Breakfasts were great but we didn’t have dinner in the hotel. There is a bar in the square which sadly closed at 6pm that served great coffee, drinks and lunch style meals, plus a hotel close by that did simple dishes for dinner

This is a delightful place to stay, very relaxed, very quiet. Staff particularly helpful and interesting, we just loved it and would have stayed on longer if it had not been full for the next few days.
